Precious Prints Foot and Hand Print Instructions

Handprint and Footprint Instructions: 

INSTRUCTIONS: Please note: this fingerprinting material can be messy. We use an authentic fingerprinting ink to get the best possible results. This ink can stain clothing.

1). Prepare a flat area on a table or bathroom surface. Place paper towels or newspaper underneath the white “hand/foot printing cards”.

2). Take the fingerprint sheet and pull apart the two pieces. Both pieces have ink on the inside.  You can also use a black ink pad of your own. 

3) Have your child place their hand on the ink print sheet. You can also pick up the ink print sheet and blot it on their hand or foot to make sure that you cover all surfaces. BE CAREFUL not to touch anything!

4). Help you child to place their hand/foot onto the white card stock. If it is messy, you can do it again. Let the print dry.  Write down the name of the child (and anything else you would like engraved with that print) on the page with the print. 

5) Clean hands with soap and water. It might take a bit of washing to remove the ink. If it does not come off with the first washing, wait a few minutes and rewash.  Baby wipes are actually one of the best ways to clean off the fingerprint ink.

6) Please make sure to include your order number or name and contact information with the handprints and footprints.  Also make sure you labeled the print.
